Player reviews days 8-15
On the up
- Chano Petersen - Continuously playing well, our top scorer and assister so far.
- Xander van der Zande - Huge improvement, we were on the verge of selling him but he has scored quite a few goals and has put in good performances.-
- Shlomo Shlimazl - On course to win young player of the year, he has been an excellent signing.
Going down
- Zenith Zenzizenzike - Could he be another Javier Pina? He could be the way he is going.
- Diego Poncet - Had a great start to the season, now he's not playing well in the games we start him in.
- Luigi de Mafia - Getting quite bad ratings recently, not sure why. Didn't keep a clean sheet today. Not making the saves he is supposed to make.
- Iam Pistov - His form has dropped again. He is being rotated with Shlimazl but isn't playing that amazing in the games that he features in.
Sunday.
LEAGUE. Round 13. LONDON (81.1) v MAHMOUD FC (83.5)
Result: LONDON 2-0 MAHMOUD
Goals: Andersson 51, Yashin 66
M.o.M: Jonathan Watts
We gained an important three points from this afternoon's game against the previously placed fifth team. After a goalless first half, we gradually took control. Stig Andersson put us ahead from a free-kick, six minutes after the resumption. Fifteen minutes later, Oleg Yashin doubled our lead when he headed home from a cross from Anton Rabus. We are now back up to second spot, but there are only 5 points covering the top 6 teams.
CITY: Miklosko, Costa, Fiksdal, Watts, Rabus, Andersson, Santos (Zola), Hori, Daniels, Yashin, Robins.
