Reached the Semi-final of the Cup, But now I'm in it with someone who use to be the underdog, VERY VERY disappointed and I just went on a spending-spree to gather a more powerful Midfield to contend with his. I'm hoping my World-class Striker and my 5-star Attacking midfield can break their defence which is formidable.
Other than that great, I remain 2nd in my league (Can't help that there is a pure-scouted team at 1), Only lost one game to that Scouted team, If I win in the Semi-finals I will most likely win the cup (the best team that can qualify for the final is 5 quality thing behind me.

*Power cut causes managerial blackout - league record damaged*
There was a power cut today (again, not unusual in Turkey) and I couldn't get online. I'd already set my team up for the cup 1/4 final second leg but there was nothing I could do to prepare for the league match afterwards.
I won the cup match to book a place in the cup semis, but fatigue took its toll and an hour later with no subs used or changes in line-up, I suffered the first league defeat this season to finish the day in 2nd place, 1 point behind the new leader.
Now the challenge is really set - regain 1st place and get to that cup final. Challenge = accepted!

Damn ... it was a draw with team rating 13.1 and mine is 27 ...this is very bad ....I hate this ... opponent formation was 4-5-1 and I started with 4-2-2-2 Hexagon and moved to 4-1-3w-2
Now I am 3 points to 1st place ..

LEAGUE. Round 16. LONDON CITY (79.8) v FETHI FC (79.4)
Result: LONDON 2-3 FETHI
Goals: Tecl 18, Watts 23pen, Tecl 41, Yashin 72, Aryeetey 84
M.o.M: Lukas Tecl (Fethi)
A second successive 2-3 defeat, has dropped us down to 4th place in the league. Three times, our visitors took the lead, but we equalised twice, before finally being beaten. Lukas Tecl opened the scoring, but Jonathan Watts got us back on level terms, from the spot, a few minutes later. Tecl got a second just before halftime, to give Fethi a 2-1 lead. After 68 minutes, we sent on Oleg Yashin, and he responded almost immediately, heading home a cross from Percy Robins. In the dying moments, Joseph Aryeetey again put the visitors ahead, but this time, we could find no response.
CITY: Miklosko, Costa, Haller, Watts, Cole, Olsen, Santos, Rogie, Daniels, Leth (Yashin), Robins.

damm my subaccount qualified to semifinal and have big chance to win it, so to win the cup better with low quality team
-
I've worked out the average quality for his my opponents chosen team to versus me (Mine: 25.30, His: 26) I'm fairly confident with a good-counter formation I could win this. (I have two legs to win, I'm sure he won't fall for it again)

New Team advances to semi-finals with a 5-3 aggregate.
And with this we sealed the pass to our first Cup's semifinal after Season one where we won. Basically, it was a sort of copycat of the first leg, where we started pretty good with 3 straight occasions which went missing and we got purged back at their very first chanche on a counter with Zoller (13'). But like in the first leg, we immediatly catched up them making our better plays count with Stark who got past the defense and offered an easy tap-in for Schneider (24').
At this point Kaiserslauten had already switched to 4-4-2 Flat ; point stands that the 3-5-2 that usually works good against was useless as we started to lose pressure by the end of first half. So we decided to focus our plays from flanks to mixed as we got in Johnny Blaze for J.Romer (DMC--->MC) going back to the usual 3-1-4-2. And it worked magnificently as 3 minutes later he was able to skyrocket on under the seven completing our great away comeback (48').
Sadly for us tho the game engine had already decided we should not only suffer, but have few handicaps for our possible semi-final match coming next, as in few mins practically half of our team was getting yellow cards like it was raining (despite light tackling and pressure on our favour). From one of the several fould booked (they made quite a few too, never being carded tho - and we didn't score) Kaiserslauten managed to get it leveled thanks to his FK taker E.Alushi. A result which wasn't really fair in the end, as we played absolutely better. Stark was of the same idea as well as a bunch of minutes before the end decided to go on a rush alone jumping all the defenders on his own and beating the keeper for the definitive 2-3 (84'). Tony stark sentenced again MoM, with their keeper scoring again an 8 out of the saves made in the match.
Scorers: S.Zoller, K.H.Schneider, J.Blaze, E.Alushi, T.Stark.
MoM: Tony Stark (9), New Team.

As shown in the table, all the other opposition was hugely weaker even comparing with us. We remain the only underdogs still in and we're going against some bunch of monsters/personal trainers/rich people:
-Fc Barcelona: AVG Q: 65,2. Main Eleven Q: 65,3
-FC Koln All Stars: AVG Q: 59,8. Main Eleven Q: 62
-William Asset FC (Former Champions): AVG Q: 60,5. Main Eleven Q: 66,1
Win or lose, New Team earns at least a thropy from Cup this season!

2nd place drew today and we are 12 points clear of the field.
It sure is a tough league but all my opponents are taking points of each other, making it easier for me.
6 more wins to go!

i found that the training speed of a player is not the same for 3 kind of trainning. May be you could choose it carefully.
exemple my 18 yo has about 50-100-150 speed but the cost for condition point is 6 10 and 24. corresponding at 8 10 and 6 training % per condition point . if i want to PT him i should try the second one for sure.
anyone notice this?
