I would find it so difficult to remove Petersen from Free-Kick duties when he has done it for so long.

I think it has to be done... Opposition getting better and Petersen slowly reducing in relative quality to the level. To be honest, his free kick goals came against weaker teams and he did miss quite a fair bit! If it fails with the new guy then we can always switch back to Petersen. Would be a waste of 40SP but that's a risk you gotta take!

Just like real life CL, top 2 teams qualify for knockout stages, then its knockout matches over 2 legs, from Last 16, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and then the final is a one-off venue.

Tie breaker rules in group stages is Goal Difference, then Goals scored.
In 2 legged matches. If its a tie over both games away goal rule applies (most away goals wins) then extra time and penalties.
In the final, 90 minutes, if equal extra-time and penalties.
