low ratings from GK

I have 2 GKs. Both have very low ratings. The players very seldom get rating 7 and above. Mostly 6 and below. But this season, my main GK is averaging 4.5 rating. So far, my team is still undefeated and has let in total 2 goals in 6 matches. So I'm thinking the low rating is due to the GK not doing much work in matches. But 4-5 is quite low even for GK. Is my GK's rating normal? Or should I get them replaced? Any difference if I get an older GK? Thanks.

Last season, both of my keepers were getting 5 / 6 /7. But I stuck with them and so far this season, in five matches, they have both received a rating of 9 and been m.o.m. Think its just luck.
