Winning underdogs in the cup

well it seems the oppo is respecting my team by going 5-4-1 flat, this cup game V higher level is going to be tough but as last game will give it a go

Well, again my first loss in the season is in the 1/4 cup finals ... 2:1 to a team with matching quality. My wingers weren't at their best even though they only played against full-backs and regardless of my dominance in midfield 2 of the opponent's MCs scored by long shots.

At least it's not a 0:4 loss like last season and this time it's against a serious team. Hopefully I'll be able to turn it around on home ground.

Well well all to play in second leg, went 2-0 up and oppo took off mid for striker and leveled 2-2 only for me to get winner in the 89 minute, dam those two away goals but at least i beat them them in first leg

I`M IN SHOCK !!!!

i could not log in for 2nd leg away ( my end not nord ) and somehow won 1-0 so that`s me into the semi final

and will be meeting another higher level team when you look at oppo and think i`m out this round the team surprises you and pulls it out the bag

i`m still saying as previous statements proved me wrong and the team won - i don`t think i`l win this but will give it a go

just watched who i might get in semi ( both level above me ) and a team that had superstars and world class players in their squad got beat beat weaker team so i have chance of making to final, in the 5 rounds i`v played i have k,o`d 4 higher level teams out but what has shocked me in 1/4 final is all the higher level teams bar one ( same level v same level ) have been k,o`d by lower teams so thier are 3 level 9 teams and 1 level 10 who i have drawn against

I am know hoping the team that got k,o`d their manager is a vindictive so an so and he comes and support`s me against the team that ko`d him, lol

I had almost no hope after a first leg away loss (0-2)... but i pulled off a great comeback in the second leg despite also getting a early goal against us!! final score 4-1 with the deciding goal coming late in the 86th minute!

our opponent was one level higher and in the previous round the opponent was two levels above. the next opponent will be the same level, it's the first time this season. let's see what happens, he's average quality is a bit higher, but since i won the last two cup seasons I'm going in very confident ))

Another higher level taken care of 2-1 (agg 4-3) and we are into the semi's!

... and I'm out of the cup after the 1/4-finals again. Beat the opponent in every statistic except for shot accuracy and got a 1:1 draw - that says it all. I guess the matches mostly are a quality comparison and even the slightest difference gives you the advantage.

I wouldn't have hated it if it wasn't again a team with virtually no management and they will surely go to the final, only to lose it to a Turkish team who just bought a few scouts.
