Question Need info about SA success percentages

I'm really wondering about that, how works these SA (Special Ability) on players in percentage ammount. How much is increased the success chance with SA?

    For example:
    Free-Kick Specialist +% to success goal ?
    One-on-One Stopper +% to success saving ?
Shadow Striker +% to success volley ?

Etc, etc... what about these percentages?

There is an aspect of randomness in all games, especially this one. the SA skill, gives the player a better chance at success in the particular skill related to the SA.

It is particularly hard to determine how T11 factors in the SA since they tend not to explain how things work in their game. They have not even confirmed what constitutes an illegal formation - forum members tested relentlessly to try to determine the illegal formations. Thanks for your help Nordeus!

But lets have some fun with this using my scout MC w/Freekick.

    52Q, age 22, Shooting skill = 53.

I dont know what the numbers signify, in terms of how the NGE uses them, but suffice to say they have to be converted into a percentage at some point in order to determine success. Look at speed in a game for example: I have 53 speed vs my opponents speed of 45. It is obvious that my guy is faster, but how does that translate into an advantage in the game? We can only speculate.

Freekick shooting vs the GK? How does the NGE determine that? Again, speculation, and that is hard because what do you use to determine the skill of saving a shot? Handling? Positioning? Tackling? Combo of two or all three? Lets use Handling and positioning combo avg = 51+52/2 = ~52. My MC has shooting skill of 53 + freekick SA. Regardless, my skill is higher but how much higher because of the freekick SA?

Now we know that I dont score on every freekick, and in this particular game, his GK got a rating of 9 and I won 1-0, and this MC had 2 freekicks and did not score, so 0% even though he had higher skill + SA. In the previous leg he scored on a freekick, I think he had 1 because my scout ST with freekick was taking them but missed 2 of 2, so I changed. so he scored on 1 out of 3 over 2 legs and that is not bad = 33%. I would go out on a limb as say that 1/3 of freekicks are success with that SA and without maybe 1/4 or 1/5. That would imply that without the freekick SA you have a 20-25% chance instead of the 33%. And then its a roll of the dice to determine success. It is possible that you start with this 33% and then add or subtract the difference in skill vs the two players. In my example, that would be +1% to make it a total of 34%. THEN you have to factor in the defensive wall and if any of them have Wall SA, and that might lower the percentage by, lets say -5%.

Do you see where i am going with this? Without Nordeus assisting us on how they crunch the numbers, it is pure speculation and I could be, and most likely am, seriously off course in my numbers.

Look at the old D&D methods: 18 STR(strength) was like +3 to attack on your rolls, and then you had to factor in the opponents AC (Armour Class) and that would give you a success rate for when you roll the dice. I suspect that this is very similar, but I dont know the exact way in which this NGE uses the skill numbers.

Maybe someone can expand upon, and/or correct my methods/numbers.

Your speculating is reasonable and logical.

My opinion is purely based on percentages, because its a game setted with chances/percents to work. So, for example if success rate for free-kick goal without SA is 30% based, is reasonable to be higher chance with SA. Maybe 1-2-5-10% whatever, just could be higher.
You have right when said about counters. For example One-on-One Stopper and One-on-One Scorer. Then if the bonus is 5% for success, that should counter and nerf it to 0% advantage.

Why actually any moderator or game-owner not gives a real answer to this?

Look at any game on the market, Diablo or something. you get a magic sword and they tell you it adds X% to your attack or this shield gives X% on your defensive numbers. Every game has this somewhere, but not T11. Is it so simple and random that they are afraid to show us or let us know how this game works? That is what it looks like.

If Nordeus was more transparent with the knowledge in the game, it would allow us managers to understand the game better and play it better. We would understand when we lose and why it happened, why the player missed his freekick.

So many questions for Ask the Dweebs, but they will never answer such easy, useful questions.

Absolutly, if we can't watch our matches in real, how they move, how they act, how something happening. So, it's not too much to ask for paper info about how works all different options. Is there so many questions like: "Any matter if you buy player by price, legs, foot?" "Any matter if you buy player with SA?" "Any matter if set formations by visual logic?" and etc etc etc.
