Today I also lost with 4-4-2 against illegal DL-DC-4MC-AMR-AMC-ST-ST formation and Q37.7 vs Q27.7.
(wasn't watching the game, he neither)

Also vs Q24.4 I nearly lost...

I can live with a loss, but it happens to many times to an inferior team.

Illegal formation does not mean you will win. You still have to play properly and take advantage of his weakness

Last season I have a friend team at L6 on my server and all he ever does is play random illegal formations and in one of the games he somehow managed to win 8-0 with 20% possession.

if im right illegal possession mean you just lose the % of possession of the ball , what if he play long passes and counter attack ?

You lose possession, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he's playing defensively. You will get the bulk of the chances and the game may simulate him getting lucky

I'd love to see how you'd manage put 4 STs in the 3 slots available for that position, lol. One of those dumb things in the game that just puts a limit on you as a manager.

It doesn't even mean that you lose possession - it's just a stat shown as 80/20 to your disadvantage, but doesn't mean ****.
