I have a **** TL too. I've found a new strategy to the transfer market. first I always used to wait till the last second to bid so that if anyone else bids i would close that player.
heres what you can do:
dont buy players that quality ends in 9's or 4's, they are 1 quality away from the next star and people will go crazy for them.
avoid 18 year old players unless you wanna power train.
sometimes bidding early for a player makes other players go away.
Save tokens for a few days and then use them, go till maximum knockout round 5, most people dropout there.
buy in the morning less online players then
the TL depends on your server, your server(like mine) is a new one in which high level players are low so not much players come for sale and there is a high demand, and yes Nordeus always wants us to buy tokens :P thats how they built this game
