@Halimo, you can change your formation sometimes to counter the formation of your opponent, as long as you have 3 defenders, 1 striker, and at least 1 left sided player and 1 right sided player. I'd recommend you read the guide by Accyrover on this forum, Justdome's guide.

I would buy young players that cost more compared to similar youngsters, the high price means that they will develop at a faster rate.
