Tatic vs 4-3-1-2 ?

Hey guys, nice forum first of all Just started out here.. I´ll get right to it :

I have an upcoming match vs no.1 in my league.. I am no.2. This guy is my IRL mate and he copied my tactic with a few adujstments I will show in pic.

First my own :


Then his :


I feel quite sure I can beat this guy, since my DMC SHOULD be able to handle his AMC, and he got no DMC to deal with my AMC.

Quality is 16.2 (me) vs 13.6

I feel like I should play these tactics :

Attacking
Through the middle
Whole pitch pressure
Normal tackling
Short passing
Man on Man marking

No offside
No counter attack

Does this seem like a win to you guys ?? Any help / tweeks are very much appriciated since I MUST win this one to take the first place and rub it in my mates face

@Ischiel, your formation should work against his for man-to-man marking, are each of your 7 defensive players better than their man from his 6 attacking players?

Your 6 midfielders should help you dominate possession, you can also switch your AMCs onto the wings, and maybe your wide midfielders into the centre to attack him down the wings if you think it's not working to attack him through the middle.

Thank you Potemy . Yea my defenders are better then his attackers when I match em up. So that´s what I will do.

Not a fetish, and certianly not weird ? I send my DMC with red arrows to support midfield. So when on attack I have 2 MC 1 ML 1 MR and 2 AMC... which gives me a totalt of 5 midfielders... not a bad midfield if you ask me.

red arrows means your dmc makes forward runs with the ball.

all that does is put your back 3 in danger of counter attack because you commit so many forward

Also means that he will go to the midfield and help out whenever I have the ball right ? At least that is what I read on this forum.

no it does not mean that. every FM game out there has these arrows. forward pointing arrows mean runs with ball (aka solo dribbles like messi or alba), backward pointing arrow means he rarely makes runs with ball (busquets, song)


also dont believe half the stuff you read here. people just guess out of their asses without doing any research
