as other said use tokens only for buying new players, when you found a player you desired, try to wait until 1-2 seconds left then u bid, if u lucky u got the player, if not u will need 1 more token to win the knockout round, it all depends on luck. Remember free players tend to attract a lot of people bidding, even though u dont see any bid yet they all wait till the last seconds.

if u managed to purchase free/cheap players then money is not a problem, there will be plenty to spend.
