A good player in a wrong position or a bad player but on his own position

I am lvl 7..i have mc that has 55.4 defense and dmc that has 46.8 defense..should i put the mc in dmc role??Need help

A good player in a wrong position. And it would be wise to put him only just a position off from the his original position(s).
