I was trying 4 5 1 (DL 2x DC DR, DMC , ML 2xMC MR, ST) but it doesnt worked so i changed to 4-5-1 V style but nothing changed lost again
UPDATE: Beaten again, I started with 3 dc, DML, DMR, 2xMC, AML, AMR , ST, opposite: 4-4 (AML AMR 2MC)-2-- lost 1st goal, opposite go to 4-3-3 i go to 4-5-1 -- lost 2nd goal. How I'm asking how if my players got 5 points better stats
how to counter 3n-2 (DMR / DML)-3w-2 , he`s a bit stronger. with 4-1-2-1-2 i lost 2-0

I had the set for NORMAL mentality, mixed, and Long pass
(had only victories, so good feedback)
Last night I watched my CUP game with a superior Team Raking +-83, I made 81+-
I change the mentality for COUNTER, RIGHT FLANK and Direct.... and I scored and ended the game playing much better!
Then I had My league game in the middle was 2-2, then I change for that same details...and ended the game winning for 2-4 dominating and creating more goal chances.
I think you should have a Good MC and DEF MID... and a Deadly Striker for scoring!

How should i set formation and tactic against a 4-3n-3 ? 4-1-4-1 doesnt worked.
I have 2 good strikers, i dont want to sit em back.
It may not work for you, depending on your players and the team orders you have given them. It has worked for me in the past.

I was using mainly an 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond or an 4-5-1 V-style formation depending on the oponent when there's a close match.

First game i lost (1-0). I used 4-1-4(MR,MC,MC,AML)-1, usual, attacking left side for the first 20 minutes but my possession was 40%. Then switched to defence style, my possession turn to 57% and the game was equal. Then i missed the goal =(
So i had to change my formation to 4-5-1V attacking, but the game didn't changed.

Can anyone please help me out ive an important match coming up which will one way or the other settle the league title as its looking like its between me whos second now as the top guy whos un beaten n only conceded the goal i scored against him,im due to play him soon n need to beat him,my goal difference is better but hes 3 points clear n looks unstoppable on average i just am 1 higher in team average but his two strikers are nearly 50 n his goal is over 45,moat of my team are 40-46 but only a few over 45 i used the counter here for the first game but lost,in saying that i missed it due to work but any help would be greatly appreciated

@padrino: thank you. I won 2:3, very hard game against tough opponent, from whom I lost few days ago 0:4 with narrow diamond (league game). In CL game 1st half I played 4-3n-1-2, and last 15 minutes I switched to 4-2-1-3, hard attacking and scored 2 goals.

this if your opposition is stronger,he was unbeaten all season only conceded 3 goals ,ive used this counter myself but find it should just be used as a training in your managerial career as by this i should have played a different formation but you also have to factor moral and condition into it,in saying thati still use these myself at times but more for ideas than answers,its hard to factor your teams moral condition plus skills n tactics ,basically,find formations that best reflectAttachment 47941Attachment 47942 on your teams skils

Any tips on beating a 2cb-3dm wide -1cm - 3Am Wide - 1str
So basically a 2-3-1-3-1
It is in the champions league final in a few hours time and a chance to take my second CL win :)
The guy is only 13th in his league but easily has the best quality squad in his league (which is weird) and has an average quality of 43 while mine is 39.3.
I learned that in times gone by his formation would be deemed illegal with just 2 defenders but i have since learned that this is not the case anymore.
Any tips on a counter formation and style of play etc would really be appreciated
