I think the arrows are a still misleading, a brief explanation the recent Q&A did nothing to fully understand them.
I still work on justdomes theory that the move in the direction of the arrows depending on the two phases of the game.
Forward arrows: move forward one square when in possession and down arrows one square when out of possession.
But to be totally honest I have my doubts as to their effectiveness.
The number of time I have played 'Mentality Normal' with down arrows on the centre DC of three, to read he running through on goal. :confused: at best!
Another reason why random goal scorers appear from nowhere and strikers make last player challenges, engine grew with Neanderthal man. ;)
