I believe that in this critical point, before a final, a scout would be more useful because I just need to buy him, put him and expecting to perform well. A nordgen, 18 y.o. , 5*, with twice the money of a scout, isn't common in the market. If I could guess that it would be a biding war for certain , I also had to count at least 10T. He 'll be probably without SA and I have read that 18 y.o. need some time to perform.

Ok, my team is wealthy but I'm not Abramovich (even if I placed once over 15T in bidding war already)
In my 2nd season I bought a scout DL/DC Header, who also in this season become 6* and he is one of the MVPs and that I believe also for the next season even he would be 4* . So 50T /3 years = 17T for a year for such a player
With this season budget, I bought a scout MC, f-k specialist. I agree with you t11 fan, an MC holding the rythm of the game and his SA , F-K or Corner makes the diference.

Well, on transfermarket you need luck for every player, you can't know how many tokens will someone spend. I've been using nordgens for while, with 35T per season they are my only chance to keep team competitive. Although nordgens are expensive, advantage is that you don't have to buy new player for few seasons so it gives space and time to earn enough money for players future replacement. My GK should play 4-5 seasons, club will have money to replace him.
Great difference is between changing 6-7 or 12-14 players per season.
Have you tried to buy nordgen through negotiations?
