Your team is stronger than his...You got draw and away goal...what you need help with??? Clearly he's the one playing defence and counter against you, why are you packing midfield? His defence is pretty weak especially the left side while your MR is twice as good as his DL. Disguise before the game to avoid him putting blue arrow down ML, then tweak it during the match to exploit his left back...If his side is the best in CL then I don't know what to call your team....

damn it, the power went off, just deleted all I wrote...

anyways, you don't need to worry. Your midfield is stronger and you will have even more possession in the home return leg. I would play 4 at the back instead of 3 DC because it gives you more security when pushing up with your wingers. Don't play DL DC DR! 3 DC is always better since its easier defending a cross 3/2 DC vs 1 ST rather than battling man to man (your fullback defend against his winger, your DC marks his ST). He will certainly change his formation in the 2nd leg as he needs to chase a goal atleast. He might play 2 ST or add an AMC to exploit your hole and pull your central defenders out to create space for his ST. You might want to play with a DMC as I can see he puts red arrow on Schurrle to fully utilizes his dribbling ability. 4-1-4-1 same as his with short passing, mixed, defending, own half, normal tackling, zonal, no offside trap, no counter should give you the berth to the next round. In the last 15 minutes change to hard defending, hard tackling, flanks passing to see off the game. Push the ball to the sides will prevent danger incase you mistakenly lose the ball. If you want more safety play 4-2-3-1 with 2 DMC and ML, MC, MR long passing, through middle, zonal, no offside, yes counter. You can even surprise him by attacking him hard the 25 minutes...all depends on the players you have and how your opponent will predictably play. You may want to look at his roster and predict what he might bring to the table with the players he possesses and be ready for it. I hope your players are all versatile giving you the option of playing 2,3 different formations with your starting 11. Making yourself unpredictable will give you better chance of winning matches. I think you got it all but confidence and I believe you will add to your trophy room the CL trophy soon. Keep me updated!!!

You have a very nice and balanced squad! He has a freekick specialist but you got 2 wall defenders so you safe. Look for 2 DC with heading abilities to battle in the air and your defence should be solid. Oh...and correct me if i'm wrong, but put blue arrows on Gonzalez to halt Schurrle's advancement if the guy is having fun runs at your defence during the game. Gonzalez is the guy marking Schurrle right?

yeah i put gonazalez to marking schurrle
btw im planning to use 4-1-3n-2 if he still use is 4-1-4-1, wat do you think ?
with normal, mixed, own half, normal tackle,no CA no OT and mixed passing, or should i use amc since his dmc always at bad form
    the last match is 5
yeah man, i failed to get treble winner this season, so at least i have to win the cl tis season, since its the first time im on cl when im active.

btw i dont have 2 dmc, my dmc atm is ml/dml i put him to dmc because his form is always good and hes the one who scored and make it draw
if still use 4-1-4-1 is it good if i use 4-5-1V ?
yeah i wont use 3 back again, DC,DL,DR sucks, better to use 3 dc instead of it
btw thanks a lot man, you helped me a lot today, and my match is tomorrow

I see alot of corners meaning you both attack on the wings. 4-5-1 V is the more offensive version of 4-1-4-1. You are winning and have the better team with home advantage, you don't need to go pound for pound against him. I can see you advance even winning the match with your tactic because after all attack is the best form of defence. 4-5-1 wing play is better with long ball and counter attack if you play short passing 4-1-5-1 will give you more possession. Its all up to you because on paper you have advantage in every aspect. Have you looked at his recent games? Does he always play the same formation? You don't think he will be more offensive in the return leg? If he keeps the same formation and you plan to use wing play don't need AMC. The DMC's low rating sometimes means he disappeared because you were avoiding him, he was not active because he wasn't needed but if his record shows he's in a run of bad forms then put 2 amc there. I would choose to target a better player with bad form over average player with high form.

I haven't helped anything but simply exchange with you my insights, please feel free to discuss our hobby. BTW, the cup game you had against Lvl 7 opponent and lost 2-0 using 4-5-1, I notice his AMC was red carded from the picture you uploaded, did he ended up playing 4-3-3? Either way, you should of avoided the wing trying to take on players 1 on 1 because even you do get a cross in, your lone ST wouldn't have a chance against his 2 superior DC. Should of drop an AMC in the hole to draw one of his DC out of position would be the better choice.
