I can see you advance even winning the match with your tactic because after all attack is the best form of defence. 4-5-1 wing play is better with long ball and counter attack if you play short passing 4-1-5-1 will give you more possession. Its all up to you because on paper you have advantage in every aspect. Have you looked at his recent games? Does he always play the same formation? You don't think he will be more offensive in the return leg? If he keeps the same formation and you plan to use wing play don't need AMC. The DMC's low rating sometimes means he disappeared because you were avoiding him, he was not active because he wasn't needed but if his record shows he's in a run of bad forms then put 2 amc there. I would choose to target a better player with bad form over average player with high form.
I haven't helped anything but simply exchange with you my insights, please feel free to discuss our hobby. BTW, the cup game you had against Lvl 7 opponent and lost 2-0 using 4-5-1, I notice his AMC was red carded from the picture you uploaded, did he ended up playing 4-3-3? Either way, you should of avoided the wing trying to take on players 1 on 1 because even you do get a cross in, your lone ST wouldn't have a chance against his 2 superior DC. Should of drop an AMC in the hole to draw one of his DC out of position would be the better choice.
