If your unsure then do it on a match thats going to make much of lesser impact of your season, or play a friendly.

Stick with form especially good form, wait until his form starts dropping, whilst introducing the new guy slowly with plenty of training, thus avoiding injuries that often occur with new signings, especially ones that are rushed into the starting eleven mid season.
The guy is doing a great job for you dropping him will ruin his confidence and morale will drop off then when the new guy doesn't come upto scratch, your fu*ked.
If his form was bad this would be a completely different answer.

Is form a big factor on T11? I never look at form, I thought it changed every match depending on how they perform lol

i think form factor might affect whole team.if player get 4 or 5 rating i will drop them 2-3 games. coz bad form makes ur team useless. (my theory) coz i dunno how the engine T11 work.just my 2 cent..
