I know is wierd but is a legit formation and it should work ok, like I said for me it worked so far, I'm always using crazy formations when I'm forced and is working but maybe because I have a very good team (maybe), you can try.
Also you can put Odeso instand of Bendris or what's he's name and where you had Odeso to put Chen, it should be better like that.
i'll see how it goes with your original selection as Bendris has higher defensive ratings than both Obeso & Cheng.....& Obeso has the versatility to allow me to change it without a substitution.Quote:

i lost the 1st leg 1-0 away despite more than average possession but the stats showed that i need to change as i never created chances, should i go with our "prototype" or should i combat the oppositions strange formation for this game then try it out?

So far nobody can prove that counter formation are working, you can try to use the prototype formation or how you thinks, is better.

He's formation is not illegal if you have support from others like amc/aml/amr you can play with 1 MC too :)
You should not play with long passing style.
Result was ok if you said that he had better team and a bigger level. Good luck for today game!

From what I see there is ok for your players but what I don't understand why you are keeping that 4 stars DR on res. and not in the first 11.Quote:

Not true. You dont pay more, you dont wait longer. Time and money spent for seating extensions reduces time and price of the new stadium. Advantage: You earlier have some more seats to sell. (only interesting for teams that usualy have a full house...)
I like your guide, it's simple and easy to understand. I also agree with you about counter-formation does not garantee success. It does work in some cases when you tweak your formation to gain advantage or to cover certain part of the pitch. This is really confusing for the new members because they also read the other popular stickies that urges managers to apply counter formation. Can someone write something more detailed and ethical combining all the great experiences with more explanations? For example in the "how to win..." The author states you must use DMC when opponent uses AMC and vice versa" but then he urges the readers to play 4-5-1 V against 4-4-2 and 4-3-2(W)-1 against 4-1-2-1 narrow diamond. Some of us really confused why he uses a DMC when it's not needed and didn't use DMC when opponent uses AMC. these things need more explanation. perhaps you masters can be more unified and put everything together in oriented orders.
I will remake it when I will be in mood and I will have more time the point is I don't want to make it to long.
