A Guide for tanking (tips and stories too)

If the tanking team is your main, I guess you are concentrate when you 're playing a league game (to loose) or a Cup /asso game and try to win.
But TIGRAN is my reserves so forgot that had the 2nd leg in my semi-finals.
So I offered a nice present in my opponent - lol

For example, for the contest of this season, it doesn't work

Two teams I have in LV1 (and trying to keep them there) were playing in the same League this season - ALEXANDROS (ALEX) & ΔΡΑΧΜΗ (D)
The problem was another five tanking teams in the same league
and three bot teams


Lets see some games
1. ALEX with subs and players out of position, won tanking Poison Ivy with main team and players oop too
(despite of the 6 saves of his non GK)
normal V formations for both



2. ALEX won SCALE, wall formation both, no GKs




3. ΔΡΑΧΜΗ- D won Tosdiva 6-0, ALL MC vs wall formation
Milanovski, a MC playing in his position, scored 4 goals




4. ΔΡΑΧΜΗ- D won LIVERPOOL
D with normal formation and low q players, most playing oop vs wall of LIVERPOOL with some good players.
At that game as oppo had some supporter, with his main team (about 16LV), supported mine (Tasos) - lol



5. ΔΡΑΧΜΗ lost from TIM KONYOL
I played with ALL MC vs wall of my p.oppo.
His mistake was to have a normal GK 7*.
He payed that "mistake" with his promotion to LV2 (30 p. vs 28 p. of D)




This league was an interesting "challenge" for me but the general idea is silly.
We must have the opportunity to declare that we want to stay in same season, with 0-3 in every game and no gaining (I don't do that to increase q).
Only been active for asso games.
Or a save/load option.

default (no, mix ...) + easy tackling to avoid injuries

continuing previous post, new season for my two tanking teams.
Before the new season, I un-friend ALEX and D- ΔΡΑΧΜΗ, so to avoid being in the same league.
Indeed, the draw put them in different leagues.
This time, all the opponents are bot teams.
You can recognize them from the adjectives for their names.
Old game players must remember when we were searching fast trainers from those teams.
Poison Ivy, Liverpool and tosdiva are also playing in bot Leagues.
I can see them because ALEX has similar quality and playing together in the Cup (but not D as it has much lower quality).
So here we see that a basic rule of fixing the draw of the League, doesn't exist (similar q teams).
Those teams have double the q of the other teams.
It's another "trick" to push those tanking teams to promote.
But usually they are aware and switching formations can loose (easy or not) from bot teams.
If someone drop (maybe temporarily ) the game with his normal high q players and a descent formation promotes, probably as champion.

This season (104) we have a contests - Set Pieces Challenge, scoring from a corner, a free kick and penalty .

I have a team at LV15 which is staying there from last year, when the old TE2014 version stopped and I could manage more than one team as I did before (3 teams, 3 open browsers at the same time).
My lap top cannot handle this newer (Unity) version of TE.
I 'm playing with RIN... only is asso games with some old friends, members of the Greek forum.

This contest was interesting, even if the prize wasn't anything interest - just a + 15% Creativity for the captain.

My not-promotion looks secure and I had a game cs HANGOVER, also a tanking team so I put my regular players and formation





Disappointed result, only a 3-0 vs a team which used some high q players but playing oop (out of position)





oppo GK (was his DC) made 6 saves


so I dropped it and didn't bother about the contest for the next games, just setting again my crap players and formation.

In the next game, I won also vs a tanking team with "wall" formation





Scorer from a F-K , Makiev, who replaced a player with red card I think.
I didn't realized that as I don't care.


I don't understand why the game gave me 80%-20% b.p. - but both had GKs playing oop.




Next game vs PANATHINAKOS, another tanking team
and Makiev scored with a penalty.(Still not aware them my player was in the 1st squad.




Today I fixed my squad and put Makiev in the bench.

A few seasons ago I tanked and also won both cups, the next two seasons I won trebles

Yes, you can stay season and go for the CH.L. and Cup.
Actually that's what I 'm doing with one of my teams.
Ραγκμπυ, my team, created and stayed for some time at LV1 when I decided to move it a little.
At LV2 won the League and at LV3 won the treble and promote to LV4.
Time to stay here for a while
I won the CH.L. and the Cup three times in a row (this season it's the third) staying in the same level.





In CH.L. I played quarter finals with the champion of this season League.
In the Cup I played with the team which disqualified him.
The 2nd team of League, also was there.








The last 4-5 seasons I have the same basic squad of 8 players without any extra training, just the daily for the bonus.
The most difficult part is that you need to be careful and switch the squads for every game of the day.
The team is ready for another double
