Is it worth it buying top notch GK or not in your opinion?

I always try to buy the best available, i usually choose a GK with special ability on one on ones but considering we never see it pop when it is activated (like fouls special ability and others) do you think it is worth it?

gk is something which is long term investment if u buy 18-19 year old and if u wanna build solid team u need good gk around 90 minimum and check his skills aswell imo u should check refelexes ,communication and concentration skills as they do make good difference in gamemy team gk lasts about 150-160 matches though but it goes higher for many teams depending upon age and if he is fast trainer or not and u dont need gk with special ability it hardly makes any huge difference
