How to imply inverted fullbacks in TE?

What this video is missing, is the creativity of some players.
At vid no1, min. 1'30, the player of Napoli could pass the ball to the left winger who was alone but he wasn't creative or fast in actions and thought to control the ball and make a pass to the left.
Of course in TE too this creativity is missing.
As we 're seeing the game from the drone view, many times I said ,
oh c'mon, pass the ball to the other side

Last season, I finished as 1st in the league with inverted fullbacks strat.

Place the wide players closer to the centre.
