1st thing that you have to know is if the players work well as thay are now, without SA.
After that I will say:
1-playmaker
2-corner specialist
3-playmaker
and sure that of 2 playmakers one will be better lol
Playmakers are useless i say when you train SA
1. Shadow
2 Free kick or corner
3. Dribbler
1 & 3. really i have one MC with playmaker and he often get Yellow card than the other lol...i sold him last season...but now maybe i will try 2 playmaker :)
2. I'm going to learn Dribbler for him cause i see he has high Dribbling point...but i'm not sure...and the Crossing point is high too :)
1 - Corner "Since you have nice FK player"
2 - Play maker "Because he is MC-DMC and that's the right positions for Play maker"
3 - Dribbler " to increase wing attacks "
give us feedback ;)
thanks for your reply :)
but i already have 2 Shadow and i often use one of them who have higher quality so...
yeh sure!! thanks :)
1. Playmaker cause i think he has high Passing point
2. Dribbler...maybe...but he play DMC so i think he cant Dribbling so far lol...i agree with you Playmaker :)
3. Corner
i will give feedback after they play some match :)
hi everyone! after they play some match and this is the result...
1. Playmaker...still not good... :(( he make some faults and lose the ball
2. Not enough points yet lol
3. Corner... Very Good...he just learned only SA skill (Crossing still 38)...2 Corner and 2 Goals in one match :))
but this is just test and i dont know what they can do in the future :)
sr for my English i'm Vietnamese :)
Train only FK or Corner, other are waste of skill points. Better spend them to learn new position.
The way i give my players SA, is give em a couple test matches. Watch the commentary, and see what they are doing.
From there i go with what they are doing, Defender heading alot = Airal. Defender stoping shots = wall. Midfielder assisting = playmaker. Midfielder dribbling alot = dribbler.
A either footed midfielder or defender get corner taker, a either footed midfielder or striker get free kick taker. Give them that job in the test matches and watch how it goes.
I prolly do some wrong picks, but been ok so far. (even if my playmakers usually suck at raitings, but as long as i win its ok )
my number 2 (DML.DMC.MC) has high dribbling points but never see him dribbling...he always shoot from long distance and some time scored...
Special Ability should be named Ability Booster.
If your player free kick rate is 1 out of 10 without SA, doesnt mean that he will increase his conversion rate after SA is applied.
Midfielders who are not good midfielders will be a card magnet if you assign the playmaking ability, but if they are actually good in scoring/assisting without SA then they will make wonderful playmakers who can take both FKs and CKs.
SAs boost current skills. If he converts 70% of FKs without SA then with the FK ability he MIGHT have 80% conversion rate. So do not simply assign SAs to your Toms, Dicks or Harrys.
Take your time to decide what SA you want to assign your player - gauge their performance while you collect 50 cones, then decide.
One of my best SA player (Will Block) is a DMC/DC who has a playmaking ability, which I decided to put in when he provided assists from FKs, CKs and also scored from defensive positions as a DC.
Another one is an MC who is a playmaker (Connor Taker) and NOT a card magnet, FKs, CKs and scoring from midfield is his forte.
thanks for your useful information :)
I enjoyed reading your article dv8r. Although I kinda feel like Kosovo many many times. I think the one on one stoppers and scorers have worked well for me in the past, but not enough that I seek them out. My major disagreement from personal experience, and I'm not suggesting I'm right or anything like that, is that corner specialists don't seem to have given me any advantage from experience. In the end I used to use wing backs almost exclusively and even my lowest level wing backs rack up huge assists totals from corners. Although not recently, and so I have started using wide midfield players with high crossing.
