How do we know who is the good players instead of Fast Trainer?

Understand people have been discussing finding the fast trainer.
But how do we actually know who's the better players instead of FT? Knowing that training a player to the full potential will take time/effort.
Getting someone who has huge potential rather than FT?

P.S: I am very new in this game so I don't really know the inside out of the game. so don't flame me if i am getting the wrong idea of this game.

Basically you can't really know. Some people look at the form of the player or the statistics when they buy one, but these are only made up by Nordeus.

In my opinion it doesn't really matter. The game will always select some key performers in your squad, no matter how your single players look like.

Thanks for the reply. I guess this is the reason why all are focusing on FT compare to good players unlike games from Football Manager / CM that I known of.

As long as your attacker is the highest rated player, the game will decide he is your main player.
