Found a 52% 21 y.o. fast trainer at Manager level 18. Whats the best strategy for me to get the most out of him?

Going to get promoted into Manager level 19 after this season. Do I wait to train until next season or put a bunch of greens into him now?

Please help! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
