    What about having some indirect free kicks where every free kick is NOT a shot on goal??

    An attacking goal may be scored directly from a direct free kick, but not from an indirect free kick. Direct free kicks are awarded for more serious offences

    This is a great idea! Not every free kick results in a shot on goal in real football. Float some crosses into the box or create a routine that has been practised on the training ground. It's all too predictable at the moment.
