Disadvantage as only 5 members?

Well, long story short we got 1 guy thats just aint as active as the other 5. Not even close to it.
He always gives bonuses, but never watch games and doesnt keep his team in the best shape.
3/4 times he ends up with 0-6 in points, which obviously hurt our chances alot to win a matchup.

What do we actually loose if we start as 5 teams next season?
Obviously we loose the chance for more points, but in this case, we would give ourselves a better chance to win trophies.
