Pratfall after the substitution

Hi!

The stable bug. I have some team for the game: 11 player with defined positions.
I have about 70% ball possessions, and it is was all good.
After half-time I made the substitution. A change my MC-player to DC-player. Also I dragged the fresh player (DC) to the DC position on the field. After that I have about 20% ball possession.

Why????????? It is unnormal.

I made substitution all mathes to keep the draw or win, and ALL mathes after my substitution I had such problem.

Explain, please!

What formation did you start with, it sound like you went with an illegal formation after the sub

A started with

ST-ST-ST
MC-MC-MC
DL-DC-DC-DR

then I change my middle MC to the player with DC-role. Yes, I have seen the yellow triangle warning, so I dragged him to DC position.

So my formation after the substitution was:

ST-ST-ST
MC-MC
DL-DC-DC-DC-DR

That's obviously not illegal, cant explain even if he was using a flat 5 in midfield it wouldn't make you 20%.

Maybe some of the experienced forum could explain?

Sorry, you mean I (a manager of my club) can not change the formation of my team during the match? So, if i started with 4-1-2-1-2, then I have to finish with the same??????

I think, even it is illegal to change the formation, so I have the one player with not his position, so, ok, let's imagine I have no more this player this way - I have only the 10 players. Even in this case it wouldn't make me 20%.

No. I first thought you played a player out of position causing an illegal formation giving you 20% possession, but after your explanation for your substitution I said that you were NOT illegal & couldn't explain why you ended up with 20%
