Missing bidding button

Hello everyone,

When I select a player I want to bid on, the bidding button in the pop-up screen of the player sometimes disappears. As a result I cannot bid on the player. At first I thought I didn't have enough money/tokens, but this wasn't the case. The strange thing is that in the auction overview the bidding button (behind the name) is present. However, during a bidding 'war' I cannot see in the overall screen whether my opponent has already put a new bid in and as you guys know, timing is many time of the essence. What is going wrong here? Logging out and starting up again sometimes works, but not always. Please help me out!
