It's not real. Perhaps the game engines requires certain rules to avoid extreme formations giving even more ridiculous outcomes than can already happen.

There has to be a line somewhere. If you got a pop up saying your star striker has received a career ending injury you'd be scurrying to the keyboard typing Too Real, Too Real
