System cheat or just a bug

Will try to explain:

At the end of previous season I bought a GK. He was 5* and needed 1% to become a 6*.
After I won the auction he was still 5* but suddenly needed 20% to become a 6*.
This afternoon my son, who plays too, had exact the same problem, only not with a GK.
What the hell is this. Ofcourse I dont have screenshot, I mean, who expect this to happen.

Hey, Always try to buy players at the start of a session, If you buy at the end of session and you got promoted to new manager level, player rating decreases by 20 %.
I think this happened to you
1) u bought the GK 5* (99%) at the end of season.
2) After training/Matches, it got level up to 6* (100%)
3) You got promoted to new manager level ( You will get promotion if if you finish at-least 7th in a league)
4) Once you got promoted, all your players will loose 20% of there ability.

No, absolutely not . It happend directly after I won auction. Had 3 matches to go or something.
I was not promoted yet.

I 've read again about loosing q after getting a player (from @cookiz I think) but not one star !

Yes, he was kinda cheap, should have known better. If he dropped in value I dont know, didnt check.
And if I remember right he was 79%. And I did not know that a player should always be at least be 80% for being a 5*. Yeah still a rookie
But the rest what I said was true. He was 5* with only 1% to go to be a 6*.
What I just wanna know if it is possible for the selling team to cheat with the * and/or %.
But I think it is just a bug from the system

Hm I wonder if this was a visual bug or something. Like if his quality percentages weren't displayed properly. Although I am basically speculating at this point. Really strange case.

In the mean time please write to support so the case will be registered through the support channel. Provide the agent that handles your ticket with all the details.

Hm, sounds very much like a small bug I have on my scout list.

If I rank it from top to bottom the top guy has 115% (39) and needs 5% to become a world class player. The worst player is 99% (35), and said to need 1% to become a world class player. It obviously seem like the grading system hasn't been updated from the previous season for the oldest players on the list.
