Auction players retain condition after transfer?

I bought 3 players in auction to hit the new 25 player limit, and each started with different conditions. One was good morale and 99 condition, the latest is poor condition and 50% condition.

I thought previously auction players were reset to some particular condition (like good/85%)... maybe I just didn't notice? Is it only injuries that are reset?

Only players from boot teams have standard condition at 80% when you buy them,all the others are as they left their teams
Injuries are healed when you buy a player which was injured when he was put for sale by a manager

This must be Karma... every player I've sold has sat long enough to be very poor morale, and of course I work them down to 30% before hitting them with -22% of Fast Counterattack....

Players will retain their state as what it has been right before you buy them for your team. They definitely don't get a boost in their condition when transferring over.
