As and added note: If your going to offer incentives in conjunction with a 3rd party be it Trialpay, facebook or a business like vistaprint it is the responsibility of T11 and those parties to ensure the offer is deliverable and managed within those parties. It should not be the responsibility of the end customer to have to chase all the loose ends through a minefield of dead ends to receive what they are promised in a promotional advertisement. There are already multiple consumer complaints in Australia to the ACCC and the dept of consumer affairs in relation to this exact behaviour by digital content vendors, and legal action against many is being considered by the regulatory bodies. Recently Apple was ordered to payback millions to consumers due to similar issues on their itunes front end on iphone. So the writing is on the wall, either you manage the solution from end to end or be prepared to end up in court at some stage to answer for the misleading claims. Im not making a threat, im just saying that this is already on the radar and palming the issue off as "not our problem" isnt going to wash forever.
