Start match Push notifications makes topeleven crashing

I am also not receiving push notifications. My game does not crash at any point while I'm playing. But the only problem is that I don't get notifications because of which I miss some of the important matches.

I play on two devices, LeEco Le 2 (6.0) and MI A1 (8.0)

Has anyone found a solution yet?

I have the same problem since this season started. using android 8.1, Nexus 6P.
Never had problems with notifications and now I miss many games because of that.

I just updated to Android 8.1 and notifications don't work again. Did something change with 8.1?

Edit: it worked on for the last game. But not the one before. Maybe something on my end.

Edit2: it may have been my doze settings.
