I pretty much know that my device is at fault. It's an old iPad. I think that this year Nordeus will stop support to such an old version.
However, I'm a grumpy old man with failing eyesight who finds it so much easier to play on a bigger screen. So I moan like the missable sod I am on here.

No problems on Android.
