Direct Transfer Bug for Same league same level team.

My best mate and i have been playing for few seasons and both have players each other want for a specific positions. I am level 4 so is he. He has just purchased the player he wanted from me but i cant even place a direct transfer bid on the player i want. We are both in same league i played him yesterday in a league game so must be on the same server.. Why cant i buy a player off him ? ? ? ??

anybody got any ideas ??

*I think* it's something to do with quality rating, if his player isn't the correct rating and isn't on the negotiations list you can't direct transfer him.

If he is a scout it cannot be done!
