4-5-1 V against 4-4-2?

Hi, I am a level 2 manager, playing in the cup against a level 3 manager. Looking at his quality of players, our team isn't too different, I have an upper hand in attack too. He uses a 4-4-2 formation. Should I be going with a 4-5-1 V formation against him?

Yes, 4-5-1- v work well. Normal mentality, down both flank with mixed passing + counter attack

Won my match 2-0. But I used 3N-2W-2N-2W-1 Butterfly formation. I guess I'll try this for tomorrow's return leg.
