What was my mistakes?

Hello all,

I'm just recently started to play and want to became better by analysing my mistakes.
I played league match against 4-4-2. My quality is 18.0 and his 14.7. Since I had bad experience with 4-5-1V (lost 2:1 and draw 1:1) so this time I decide to play 4-4-1-1 attacking mentality, mixed passing, own half, normal tackling, mixed passing, zonal ant counter.Had red arrows on DR/DL/MR/ML. He was also watching match. My players all were at 99% condition. 2 of them had very good morale, others superb.

During first 6 minutes he scored 3 goals. Then I removed red arrows from DR/DL. In second half I change to 4-4-2 but it didn't help and in the end he scored another 2. So 5:0. After match my DR/DL/ML had ratings of 5. Must be something what I missed.

I dont know man.I often use 4-4-1-1 against 4-4-2 and I have good results against stronger teams.Your case is strange and it's proove for billion time that the game engine sux.

if his team use counter attack, you 'll lose. but 5-0 is somthing sounds strange
4411 doesn't work very well with attacking mental, attacking doesn't work well with conter, red arrow RD LD isn't a disavantage but when your 2 CD is low quality don't do it often,
he watch the match, his team isn't good form
still something misunderstand here

because ur enemy read your formation and he know how to counter ur formation maybe

i think 3-2-3-2 (not with 2 dmcs,but with 2 amcs) is better than 4-4-1-1.
Its more offensive.
