3n-3w-1mc-2aml/r-1 how do you guys beat this

    hello guys

its cl finals and normally i understand how to counter someone

but i never met this before and its way too defense, how do i break his formation/defense

    any suggestions pls?

    some thoughts of me:

    - short pass because 3DMs
    - counter on because defense
    - max. normal mentality because he will counter on

but i dont know where and how to attack

    same %

    Good post.
3n3w defense has been rough for me last couple seasons, too. 3n3w211 can really eat up 43w12, so avoid that...
Low pressing and normal might help stay safe from counters, and you might use down arrow on a DC to protect on break aways, hard tackling should also help. I would use 4 midfielders plus a DMC or AMC, whichever is better for you. AMC can be effective despite opponent's DMC. Look for an mc whose rating is going up for you and try applying an attacking arrow. I would also try mixed passing, especially if you're going to make counter attacks.

    its not 3n3w211!

    its like this :

    -----DC--DC--DC---
    DMR---DMC--DML
    -----------MC----------
    AMR------------AML
    ------------ST---------

still good insides thx. i think about 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 short pass, mixed attack , defensive mentality, counter on, rest default

can someone confirm this or other ideas?

Yeah, the attackers up front don't seem to make much difference with this formation, so 3n3w12n1 or 33211 or 112, all similar threat.

4-3n-3 or 4-3MCs-AMC-2STs will do the good job...

Attacking/In the middle/short passing/hard tackle/high pressure (if at home) or low pressure if away/no counter/offside on

We got you, we got you! What people are trying to say here is that it does not matter a lot whether it's AML, AMC or S: the trick with this formation is the terrible 3N-3W core, which is veeeeeeeeery difficult to break. You should focus on middle for sure with 2 strikers. 3-5-2V may do (I did it once but with lower quality opp) or why not 4-3-3 as mentioned. Good luck

Any formation that crowds the middle with minimum 2 ST: 4-1-2-1-2 ND, 4-3N-3, 3-5-2V. Good luck!

I suppose he will strike on wings, probably long passes, counter attacking and defensive mentality. I wouldnt change my tactic if i were you. Set very defensive, short passes, through the middle...hard tackling (you must risk at some point)
