I guess if you play defensive you would want to force the counter attack, right? I don't have too much experience with the game yet but I think unless his team was much better I'd go with a normal mentality as opposed to defensive.

I've played in attacking mode since the beginning of this season. However, that guy just crushed two strong teams in CL with the score of 6-0 in both matches. That's why I am conservative in choosing tactics and formations to go against this guy because I do not want to miss the treble

I've never faced this formation. I understand that I have to go with 4-5-1 V style with red arrows on AML/AMC ? Maybe there are new counter formations?

Deffensive, both flanks, normal tackling, long passes, counter attack

Won 0-2 my team was 1.1 point better
