I've been doing rather well against 4-4-2 formation, since I'm still undefeated this season, : )

This first one doesn't really count because of the quality difference being so ridiculous... :

This last one is more revealing, since this time both teams were more or less equal. I still had the home advantage however :
That's all the 4-4-2 teams I've come across this season.
As you can see, I basically use a flat 4-5-1 against 4-4-2 classic. It allows to have a better midfield control and thus have a pressing advantage since both format. are based on the midfield game. With red arrows on my ML/MR and central MC, my offense is still very strong even with just one ST.
