    4-4-1-1 orders

I bought a new AMC to give 4-4-1-1 a try. When using 4-4-1-1 should I focus passing central or down both flanks? What about other orders? In general, my players are equally good. I have previously used mostly 4-4-2 classic, so this shouldn't be much different except 4-4-1-1 is a bit more defensive.

Is there anyone actually using this tactic? I've played 3 games with it and won them all. Although, opponents were weaker than me.

4-4-1-1 is a well balanced formation (4-4-2 classic variation) and I've used it numerous times before I switched tactics because of my preference to play twin strikers. One match I remember clearly I beat a slightly stronger opponent & title rival (and a RL friend) 3-0 away. Raced to a 2-0 lead before halftime then changed order to defensive/counter and scored another.

Orders vary depending on the opponent - down the wings for wingless opponents and mixed for winged opponents, but you can never go wrong by setting normal mentality, attack the wings, short passing and your preferred tackling/pressing orders. Also forget offside and counter.

    Enjoy it!
