Beat an illegal formation

Hey guys,

I have a game in a couple of days against this team. And as you can see, the guy is using an illegal formation, which seems to be quite efficient as he got good results at the beginning of the season.

Do you have any recommendation for beating such team? I already lost a game against an illegal formation that was supposed to be far weaker than my team, and I do not want to be in the same situation again. I have been looking to the "counter formation" topic, but did not find anything.

TBH that doesnt look illegal to me. 1-2 player on each side. at least 1 CM/CDM. at least 4 players above the half line
not too sure though as i dont really pay attention to formations

It seems illegal to me because of the stryker position. The stryker should be at the center, but is actually on the right.

But even if we assume that this one is not illegal, I did not find any counter formation in the topic :/

i dont think that matters, again not too sure
logically id play out wide, WBs arent as defensive as FBs, and going through 3 CBs and the CDM (was nerfed i think) should be hard IRL. me thinks people call that 'the christmas tree' or something

True. It's an legal formation, it's juast seems asymetrical formation. On the cup i against that formation with 3-1-4-2 flat. And won 1-0 at the home and away.
