Outstanding thread, July.
According to my lists:-
4-3W-3 is beaten by 4-4-2 classic, attacking, down flanks, own half, normal, zonal with O/S trap
3-4-3 is beaten by 4-3N-2W-1, attacking flanks, whole pitch, normal, short passing, zonal with O/S trap
I'll add some more when I find them in my notes, lol.
And this thread should definitely be stickied
No regrets

I've only got the narrow 3-4-3 in my notes. In fact I doubt I have ever played a 3-4-3 wide at the back.
No regrets

The Brazilian is also missing.
And when this is finished any one who leaves their playing formation on the board for the next match deserves everything they get.

lol, You gotta think though, With many different formations being asked on a regular basis, since the inception of the old forum, why not make a table. not a lot of people are ever on the forums, 9,000,000 managers, but only 6,000 members??? and not that many visit and post everyday.

The most important thing left out is the fact that the relative strength of squad is more important than formation
I think tactic is important for manger and need to work on player performance also.
we only have 22 slot of player to put in and did not have all position cover for all formation.
we need some back-up player for injury too. so anyone can think of play a player out of his comfort zone?
