How to beat 4-1-3W-1-1??? help pls
I played 2 Cup games against 4-1-3N-2 formation. People were discussing it a lot and I saw about 5 different advises how to beat it, but stayed with 4-3N-2-1. My opponent was 1 level higher and had a little bit better skills on the field.
1st game (at home) my players' conditions were around 50% and the game ended 2:2, he tied it at the very end.
For the 2nd game on the road I rested my players to at least 90% and got pretty easy win. Long passes down both flanks worked perfectly. Both goals came from my AML and I won 2:0.
So I guess 4-3N-2-1 works just fine against 4-1-3N-2.

Can I assume the 4-1-4-1 formation is flat DL-DC-DC-DL/DMC/AML-AMC-AMC-AMR/ST? Or can the DMC be interchanged with MC depending on quality or availability of players? Or interchange the offensive 4 across the ML=>MR line for the same reasons? Obviously, doing this presents a more defensive posture. Also, I notice there are no indicators for use of red/blue arrows in the table for any formations.

You are much stronger, and his wingers are weak. I suggest You narrow diamond, red on AMC, blue on DCs, could be blue on DMC, trough the middle , mix attacking/normal, short/mixed if You watch the game. Ball possession is Yours.Quote:

The problem is that I use 4-4-2 and my players 29 are for this formation.
After this I have a MC of 29 and other one of 25, also a ST of 26, and have a DC and a DR of 23.
Nowadays I have 742K, but it only would give myself money or for an AMC or for a DMC. The possibility that would have of playing with 4-1-2-1-2 diamond would be to put the DC of 30 of average in DMC that also can play in this position, but it would have to put of DC to a player 23 and then with the money it might obtain an AMC. Already you know my players, I wait for your advice and again, thank you very much:P

I'm not a pro but there is something in your formation which i don't understand. Why did you use a DMC? The oponent doesn't have the AMC . Did you put a blue arrow on that DMC to boost central defenders?
I assume that you read the TimYoung instructions to 4-1-3-2 formation but what orders do you put there?

4-5-1 V-style works perfectly against 3W-1-3N-1-2, I won 4:1.
This it was my idea for the first party :S But now it is the return, in my field, and I am losing 2-1, need to stay as minimum 1-0 but if it marks me minimal I would have to mark 2. I need to put a formation that serves me to leave my desk 0 and to mark at least a goal.

how I beat 3w-1dmc-4 (ml-2mc-mr)- 2st?
Some weird Cup game I had. Can anyone logically explain what happened? I post it here cause I used the suggested counter formation from this table and got destroyed. Our skills level was pretty even.
1st half. My opponent plays "The dv8r" 4-3N-2W-1. I countered with suggested here 4-4-1-1. I scored first, but by the half time I was down 1:4 and my main DC was sent off for 2 yellow cards. He couldn't change formation cause he didn't watch the game.
2nd half. I substituted one of my MC for DMC and regrouped, the team looked like this: 3(ml-mc-mr)-1dmc-3(ml-mc-mr)-1amc-1st. Playing like that I scored 3 goals and the final was 4:4. How is that possible? What formation would be good to counter him in the next game?
I am probably late here. But please add that 4-3n-3 can be beaten using 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond as well. it is of course not as good as 4-1-4-1 but if u can't use that, narrow diamond is as good. I used it against stronger teams playing 4-3n-3 last whole season and won all. This season I had bad luck and have yet won only 2 games in total so that's why I lost to 4-3n-3 once in this season. If DL/DR are fast enough, set them on red arrows. Give DMC blue arrows. Give AMC and ST red. AMC will be free to go as to there is no DMC for our opponent. later on in the game, if u r winning by atleast 2 goal margin, u can take the DMC off and get in an extra AMC. Well, whom am I telling allthis. To the gr8est managers on T11. but still, if u feel right, pls include 4-1-2-1-2 in the list for the counters of 4-3n-3. If I am wrong, pls tell me as it will save me some defeats later. but this worked well 4 me and my AMC always scored when I used this against 4-3N-3.
