Vs 4-2mc-3w-1 i saw 4-5-1 flat win often
4-2-2-2 hexagon is simply beaten by 4-4-2 classic. Tested and works perfect.
3N-5-1-1 ..... ? I will play a guy that has this formation. What do you guys recommend?

in this thread it is said that the best way to counter the 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond is by using a 4-3N-2(AML/AMR)-1.
However, in the "How to Win Against Any Formation?" thread, this formation is added as the 2nd best formation to beat the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond. The first formation to use to counteract the 4-1-2-1-2 ND in that thread is actually the 4-5-1 V.
perhaps it could be added to the first page in this thread?

I will play cup game against a guy who won the first one before I got good players so I have to win tomorrow. What kind of formation should I use against his formation 4-1-left MC+MR-right AMC-2. The formation is something between narrow and wide diamond and don't look good though. I have used 4-4-2 and I don't have many DMC or AMC players.
My team is 16 stars/ 6,07M
His team is 15,1 stars/ 3,4M

I got a bit tired of random people on here posting how to beat formations in this topic, one of the reasons I dropped back from being forum moderator.
July, I'm facing these two formations today, but it's not really my style to play a flat back four, do you have any advice? Would my WM work as well as the 4-5-1 V? It's basically the same, except with 2 DMCs and a single DC instead of 2 DCs and a single DMC.Quote:
