There's a great counter formation for the 4 2 3W 1 tactic
As you can see :

This is not one of my match, it was a game in my league but i used to play 4-4-2 vs 4-3-2W-1 too and it alway works so well!!! For me it's probably one of the most efficient counter combination.
This 4-4-2 must be Defensive, attacking both flank, mixed passing, counter ON, no offside... with up arrows on MR and ML
I have quite a tough match tomorrow.. He plays 3N-2W-3N-1-1
A slight variation from the 3-2-3-2 but with an AMC tucked behind the ST... So if 4-4-2 can beat 3-2-3-2 then I'm assuming the 4-1-4-1 can beat the above formation?
Which formation is best versus 4-5-1 V ?
Can I play like below?
-------ST
------AMC
---MC- MC MC
DML --------DMR
---DC DC DC
Check the other stickied thread for the 451 v style solution. I would swap your amc and one mc for aml and amr so you have 32221 butterfly. It's not one of the suggested solutions on that thread tho.
What's best vs 4-2n-1-2n-1?
I know up front i should have aml, amr and one st. But what in defence and midfield? I need to exploit their lack of wingers, but it's really strong down the middle.
3-2n-2n-2w-1 or 4-1n-2n-2w-1 (451v)? Or something else?
