Table of Counter Formations - What to use?

I played 4-2(DMC)-3(W)-1 with my friend and lost 1-0 in the second half. My friend Q is 22 and my Q is 19. So I think whether we can play with this formation to counter 4-1-2(AMC/AMC)-1 or not?

Another question. Can I counter 4-1DMC-1MC-2W(AML/AMR)-2 with 3-2-2-2-1 buffterfly?
