First of all, I am a rookie.

But it is clear that your opponent is going to try to dominate the midfield. You have 2 options, in my opinion. If your players have more quality use the same tactic. And play through the middle. The other option is to go around him, although this might not be to easy.

Since a DL-DC-DR tactic might, since he has a AMC, fail. You could try a: DL-DC-DR-DM-ML-MC-MR-(MC or ST)-ST-ST and go around him. And a blue arrow on MC, as he probably uses counter with red arrows on 2 MC

I think a 4-6-0 is illegal, so You might want to use one midfielder as a ST, and put blue arrows on the MC, since he, most likely, is using counter. Ofcourse you have to use both flanks. Another good option is to use either AML or AMR and one ST, since you will use 1 flank to attack him on. Try to have a header in front of the goal.

So to cut things short, try to use:
1. DL-DC-DR-DM-ML-MC-MR-(MC or ST)-ST-ST (dominate both flanks, zonal, and counter his attack)
2. dr-dc-dc-dl--dmc--mc-mc-mc--amc--st (you counter all his position, manmark, if you are stronger you win)
3. dr-dc-dc-dl--dmc--mc-mc-mc--(aml or amr)--ST (use one flank attack, manmark)

If you are equal in strenght you can use all tactics. If he is stronger, you might want to use 1, and hope for the best. If he/ his players are slightly stronger 3 might be an option.

Good luck,

And let me know what the results are.
