normal Mentality: Attacking both flank: mixed passing: pressing own half: no counter : with offside trap.

I would start off with normal mentality, down both flanks, mixed passing, normal tackling, pressing own half, zonal marking, force counter and no offside trap.

Then adjust to attacking mentality depending on the score

Yes that's fine as it is one square from his normal position. But don't do this all the time, once is ok

I have a game vs flat 4-5-1 and i will play flat 3-5-2 like that:

ST ST
ML MC MC(up) MC MR
DC DC DC

Defensive mentality and counter. Mixed passing and attacking every where.
Maybe put down arrows on ML&MR if your opponent has good player.

If the opponent is very strong i d play: 3-2-3-2
ST ST
MC MC(down) MC
DML(UP) DMR (down)
DC DC(down) DC

Some people however may change the MC-MC to a DMC-DMC, don't worry too much about this as it will not effect the formations provided and would enhance your ball possession.

I face a team in Semi and final using the same formation.
Semi result: 1st leg(0-0), 2nd leg(2-0) against a weaker team.
Final : a team similar skills level to mine

1.What team mentality should I be using and what about counter attacking?
2.any arrow on AML/AMR?

A)my aml/amr is slower and weaker than their DL and DR
B)His aml/amr are weaker than mine

That will go as a solution on my formations, I knew the 3 in the middle would prove difficult for the wide diamond to handle.
