No arrows, just play defensive mentality, own half, counter attack, no offside, down both flanks, mixed passing, zonal marking, normal tackling

I ask me what is better if you change your formation and opponents adapt or maintain formation for each game?

Hi there,

I'd maintain the formation as far as possible. You can try to experiment and change one or two position every time. Also, if your opponent is weak on the wings, make sure to concentrate on the wings and vice versa.

I've got a question myself:
My next opponent has this as his formation:
3-1-3-2-1.

DL----DC----DR
------DMC-------
ML----MC----MR
---AMC--AMC---
-------ST------

I am Kinda helpless since his players are better than mine for the most parts and he has an UBER-strong middlefield and still got a lot of punch with two AMCs and one ST. I guess his DMC will work as a second DC moving backwards so he has that covered as well... Please help!

I dont know how to set the arrows and settings.

This is my default formation the whole season, because i dont want to change every match and i am searching for good options.

4-5-1 flat?

Put red arrows on your ML and MR, play down both flanks, normal mentality, pressing own half, mixed passing, normal tackling, zonal marking, counter attack with no offside trap

this hole league i decide to play only 1 formation 4 1 2 1 2 narrow diamond , i will change it only in champions league and coup to counter the others !

You may have a chance with 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly.
Defensive, Both flanks, Hard tackle, Short passing, Zonal, No O/S No counter.

yeah, attack him from both flank as it would be his weakest
2 AMC so you might want to put one MC down to blue and dont put off-side trap
